  • Bitches in Balance is designed to assist you as woman in perimenopause, menopause and beyond in building habits that will transform your life.
  • It is about overall wellness, fitness, nutrition AND changing the way you think about who you are.
  • It is about supporting you and challenging you to live outside your comfort zone.


  •  Bitches in Balance is not a quick-fix weight loss, look good for your daughter's wedding or tropical vacation kind of program. 
  • It is not a program where you can just phone it in or mindlessly follow along and expect magical results.

You can expect to:

  • Break down barriers that result from bad habits created by unhealthy thought patterns.
  • Create a road map along with your coach of your journey toward reaching the healthiest version of you in mind, body and spirit.

  • Dedicate time in your daily life to changing your mindset and becoming a better you.
  • Challenge the stories that you tell yourself about what you can and cannot do.


Quite honestly, if you are just looking to lose weight and are not ready to make meaningful changes to the rest of your life, Bitches in Balance is not the right program for you. We seek to work with women who want to revive their inner badass and are willing to work hard to do it.


Frequently Asked Questions - Fitness & Nutrition Coaching

 We will ask you to provide a list of any equipment that will be available to you. This may be things you have on hand in your home or you may be planning on doing the workout at a gym. We can build workouts for you with little to no equipment or everything you've got. 


  

  1. Review your workout prior to the time that you plan to do it so that you can ask about clarifying questions on movements and/or modifications you may need.
  2. Record brief videos of yourself doing movements when you are seeking feedback on your form or whether you are doing something right. 
  3. Make notes in your online workout about what you did, the weights that you used and note any difficulties or successes.


  •   My FitnessPal
    • We use MyFitnessPal to set and track nutritional goals. It is free to use, but it is highly beneficial to have the Premium plan which is currently $19.99/month or $79.99/year. (Check out latest pricing at https://www.myfitnesspal.com/premium) 
  • Women's Health Test 
    • We recommend getting a comprehensive hormone panel completed and recommend using Everlywell's women's health test
    • Current pricing is $249, but always refer to the latest pricing on the site.
    • Our in house medical professional will review the results for us.
    • Based on your symptoms it may be recommended that you visit a functional wellness practitioner. 
  • InBody Test
    • Weighing and measuring  yourself tells an incomplete story. An InBody machine is a quick, non-invasive way to quickly and accurately measure your body composition.       
    • While your weight may remain unchanged, your body fat and lean muscle mass may be changing. 
    • Getting this information at the beginning of your program and monthly thereafter can help us adjust your programming and your nutrition to better meet your individual needs.

 Virtual wellness coaching is one-to-one support delivered online to help you improve your health, wellbeing, and lifestyle—wherever you are. Sessions take place via video call, with personalized guidance tailored to your goals, challenges, and stage of life.


We meet online at scheduled times using a secure video platform. Together, we explore your health concerns, create realistic goals, and develop practical strategies you can actually stick to. Support may include nutrition habits, movement, stress management, sleep, mindset, and behavior change—depending on your needs.


 Virtual wellness coaching is ideal if you want personalized support but need flexibility. It works especially well for women navigating midlife changes, including perimenopause and menopause, who want guidance that fits real life—not one-size-fits-all advice.

 No. Wellness coaching does not diagnose or treat medical conditions and does not replace medical care or therapy. It focuses on education, lifestyle support, and behavior change. When needed, coaching works alongside your healthcare providers.


All you need is a reliable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a private space for your sessions. See the technology FAQs for more information.


 Yes. Research shows virtual coaching can be just as effective as in-person support, with the added benefit of convenience and consistency.


Coaching is offered in 12 week packages so you have time to create meaningful, sustainable change. Additional time can be added to address longer-term issues.


Frequently Asked Questions - Technology

 Not at all! We'll walk you through it. You'll need a phone or a laptop with a camera, microphone and speakers (most laptops today include these things).


For virtual fitness sessions, you may want an adjustable stand for your phone as you'll be asked to place it in locations where it will get the best angle of the movements you are doing.. 


Having some wireless headphone/earbuds that connect to your device is recommended, but not required.


We will schedule a time for the virtual session and send you a link to a Zoom meeting or set up a call via Facetime. 


Prior to the first session, we'll send you specific instructions for preparation.
